The Club Car Onward LSV is street-legal and built beyond federal (FMVSS 500) and industry (SAE J2358) safety standards.

    Did you know? To qualify as street legal, the vehicle must meet the following requirements:

  • Speed: A top speed of more than 20 mph but not more than 25 mph
  • Weight: A gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of under 3,000 pounds
    • Safety Equipment: Must be equipped with the following:
    • Front and rear turn signals
    • Headlights, brake lights, and tail lights
    • Reflectors
    • A parking brake
    • A rear-view mirror (either interior or a driver-side exterior and passenger-side exterior mirror)
    • An Automotive Safety Glass (AS1), DOT approved windshield
    • Seat belts for each designated seating position
    • A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
